Weekly Prayer (July 13th, 2020): Pray and ask the Lord to move in Japanese people's hearts so that they will acknowledge the power of God, his majesty and holiness, and receive the salvation offered them in Christ Jesus (Ezekiel 36:26; Acts 16:14).
Let us pray that the Lord will give the Japanese people a new heart and a new spirit. Pray that He will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). As the gospel is preached and made known in Japan, ask the Lord, just as he did with Lydia, to open hearts to pay attention to the good news and come to faith in Christ (Acts 16:14).
Pray for the Japanese to praise the Lord and worship Him alone. In Jesus’s Holy Name we pray, amen.
