Let us pray for the Lord to raise up more prayer warriors for the Japanese people, for we know that all ministry must begin with prayer.
Today at our PrayYamanote ministry here in Tokyo we had a total of 35 people in person (and 2 over Zoom) join us from Hong Kong, Tennessee, Peru, and Hawaii. (Visit our Facebook page here to see photos from today and/or follow us: https://www.facebook.com/prayYamanote/)
It was amazing to see the Lord raise up so many people to pray for Tokyo together in one place, and I believe every person present today was an answer to the prayers of God's saints to raise up more laborers for Japan through prayer.
We know we cannot save anyone or convince anyone of the validity and necessity of the Gospel. We sow seeds and water those seeds, we share the hope we have within us, but apart from God's life-giving work in a person's heart, the Gospel will always remain folly to the unbeliever. So let us pray specifically this week for God to raise up many more prayer warriors--like you!--to join with us in praying for the spiritual blindness that has covered the Japanese people's eyes for centuries to be powerfully lifted.
Is there someone you could invite this week to pray with you for Japan? Let's pray always, so that we may not lose heart (Luke 18:1), and let us pray for prayer warriors to be raised up for Japan beyond what we could ask or imagine.
