Weekly Prayer (March 21st, 2022): Let us praise the Lord for his holding all things in his hands, and let us pray for Japanese believers to rejoice in the hope-filled truth that their times are in God's hands (Psalm 31:15). And let us pray for more Japanese people to come to know and believe in the One who holds all things together.

While reading and reflecting on Psalm 31 last week, the first part of verse 15 really struck me, in which David says: "My times are in your hands." I've read this Psalm many times, but last week, these words really impacted me, and I praised the Lord holds my times, my days, and all of my life firmly in his hands. And this is true of all who have been purchased by the precious blood of Jesus.

And since this is true, this is the hope of the believer, let us pray for this truth really to sink into the hearts of the Lord's Japanese children. Let us pray that God will keep Japanese Christians from fearing disaster or evil, for God is with them, and He upholds them with his righteous right hand. Let us pray that by God's grace they will trust in Him and wait upon Him in every trial.

And let us pray for more and more Japanese people to come to have this hope, this glorious grace that is found only in Jesus. Pray that they will come to know and believe on Jesus, that they will be upheld by his righteous right hand.

In Jesus's Name,we pray these things. Amen.
