Let us pray for the Lord to shine in the hearts of the Japanese to give them the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4-6).
Paul says that the Gospel is veiled to those who are perishing (2nd Cor 4:3).
"In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Cor. 4:4).
We see this everywhere in Japan, the enemy's blinding influence upon millions of men, women, and children. So let us pray for the Lord God Almighty to shine in millions of Japanese people's hearts, that they may see and believe on Christ.
Let us pray the words of 2 Cor. 4:6 over the Japanese people this week:
"For God, who said, `Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
Let us pray for God to do what is only possible for Him in the hearts of the Japanese people, for them to be transferred to the domain of darkness into his marvelous light.
In Jesus's Name, Amen.
