Let us give thanks to the Lord for his mercy and saving grace at work in Japan.
As we move closer to Thanksgiving here in the U.S., let’s spend some time this week giving thanks to the Lord for his grace toward the Japanese people. Though we pray and desire so strongly for the millions of Japanese people who still sit in the darkness to come to faith in Christ, let us praise the Lord for all those he has granted salvation and brought into his marvelous light.
Let us praise the Lord for all the ways he is working right now to draw more and more Japanese to Himself. Praise the Lord for his redemption that is at work right now, by the Holy Spirit’s power, drawing Japanese men, women, and children to Himself.
Let us pray for these who have been saved to give thanks to the Lord and call upon his Name continually, for his steadfast love endures forever (Psalm 136:1). Finally, let us pray for the Lord to grant even this week for many more Japanese to call upon His Name and be saved.
We pray all these things to the praise of your glory, O God. We love you and thank you with all that is within us. In Jesus’s Name, Amen
